Seeking Intern for Computer Lab Pilot Project

CCTV is looking for an organized, reliable, and friendly individual to help oversee computerCENTRAL during weekly dedicated drop-in hours for Transition House, a local domestic violence agency. The Intern will be assisting temporary Cambridge women who are homeless due to recent trauma and fleeing domestic violence.

A sincere interest in helping women use computers is required, as is sensitivity to the needs and concerns of those new to computers. Must feel comfortable working with a non-profit organization with a diverse constituency. Flexibility and understanding to this unique population will be essential. Training and support around domestic violence issues that may come up will be provided by Transition House.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of MAC computers is required
