September is National Save A Tiger Month. According to the World Wildlife Fund, there are less than 4000 tigers in the wild. To save the beautiful animals from extinction, CCTV and Cambridge Arts Council will co-sponsor a 3-part workshop to raise awareness. Cambridge artist Zhonghe (Elena) Li will lead the workshops, demonstrating how to do traditional Chinese papercuts, combined with watercolors/acrylics, collages and lighting to show the “Art of Living Together”, a project supported by the Cambridge Arts Council’s 2022 grant.
You are welcome to participate in any part or all of them. There will be an exhibition at the CCTV front window installed after the third workshop. Please join and use your art and creativity to speak out for the endangered big cats, and your voices are essential to our survival as well, because we are interconnected with all other species on Earth.
*This workshop is free but participants will be expected to bring their own scissors. The link to the scissors below are recommended.*
