The Muslim Experience in Cambridge is the 12th episode of "Cambridge Uncovered." NeighborMedia intern Sarah Moawad, co-editor of Muftah's Egypt and North Africa pages, leads the conversation and is joined by City Councilor Nadeem Mazen -- who is said to be the first and one of the only Muslim elected officials in Massachusetts; Farah El-Sharif, a second year Ph.D. student in Near Eastern Language and Civilizations, with a focus on histories and cultures of Muslim societies, at Harvard University; and John Robbins, executive director of the Massachusetts chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The four discuss the experiences Muslims face living, studying and working in Cambridge.
