The Same thing is on the Table Again, Tonight at City Hall, that also pertains to exclusion of the poorest.

Peace Be Unto You,

Hello Everybody, I’m Hasson Rashid, I reside at 820 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge MA. My Public Comment is about CMA I# 14,16; CR I#1;Policy Order and Resolution List I#7.

Item # 14 of CMA is another example of what I have been conveying publicly, for sometime now, concerning the exclusion of the lowest and most vulnerable levels of the continuum of poverty, poor and homeless peoples. There is no mentioning of the homeless in this item, I’m certain that they exist or are to be found in the Volpe area, etc.

The same hold’s true for CMA I#.16, for years the City of Cambridge, MA has been receiving this kind of funding, the city had it when the Foundry Building was empty, and the city could have used it there for poverty housing and homelessness prevention, but didn’t, no they gave the Artist Community more consideration when it came to suggestions for uses of the land and facilities, found at the Foundry Building site. Now in Charter Rights #1 the same thing is on the table again, that also pertains to exclusion of the poorest.

Finally I don’t understand why the city is contemplating funding or subsidizing the cost of installing and removing, air conditioning on Cambridge Housing Authority's (CHA ) properties, when they are financiallly able to pay for, and do it themselves. Thank you.

Yours In Peace,
Mr. Hasson J. Rashid,
