Screening & Presentation at CCTV is Part of the Cambridge Science Festival

As part of the Cambridge Science Festival, CCTV member Karin Koch presents her video, Minority Women in Science, an insightful look at four women scientists, all from different countries of origin. They describe their experiences working in the United States, confronting issues such as gender and its impact on professional advancement, quality of research, and quality of life.

Screening Saturday April 28, 4 PM - 5 PM at CCTV FREE!

The next day, as a follow-up, a live in-studio program will include scientists Saku Vrtilek, Senior Astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Irene Bosch, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester, Magaly Koch, Research Associate Professor, Center for Remote Sensing, Boston University, and Sucharity Gopal, Professor, Geography and Environment, Boston University. The scientists will talk about their work and expand on themes from Minority Women in Science.
