Hey, Cambridge! Mark your calendars! This Thursday, Aug. 1, CCTV is hosting a FREE orientation at 6:30 p.m. Why should you care? Well, if you want to do anything here, you need to attend!

Ever dream of becoming a radio or TV host? Want to get involved in the excitement of studio production and live television programming? Cambridge Community Television, a community access station located in the heart of Central Square, provides training to individuals and organizations who want to make their own media, get seen and be heard! No experience necessary!

Take hands-on classes in camera, editing, lighting, documentary-making and more for little to no cost. Have your film, TV show or music video aired and seen on cable TV! Gain connections in a community of media-makers like yourself. Or simply raise awareness about an issue you care about by becoming a citizen journalist.

Whether you’re a multimedia pro or have never touched a computer in your life, CCTV has something for you! Even if you don’t live in Cambridge, opportunities are available. Getting started is easy. Just attend the FREE orientation at 6:30 August 1st to learn more!
