A small bit of irony is ready present at 9am on a Saturday morning at the Beyond Broadcast conference here at the Stata Center at MIT. This building and this campus is dripping with wireless Internet. The conference is about the culture of the Internet - but we don’t have access to the Internet. So many of people in the room, who are often glued to their laptop screens, browsing the Internet, chatting and walking around Second Life, are actually listening to the speakers. Not just listening, but looking and listening, helping to secure the traditional feeback loop of interpersonal communication. It’s a beautiful sight.
