Curious what CCTV members are up to? Come join us for our Work in Progress Screening Wednesday, February 20th at 6:30 p.m.
This month we will be featuring the work of CCTV Producer Bernie J. Enjoy some time socializing and help Bernie polish his video about Acadia National Park in Maine. All are welcome!
There are three things that need doing when you're at Acadia; travel the 27-mile Loop road, ride on some of the 45-miles of carriage roads and visit the quite side of the Park, Schoodic Peninsula. Experienced professional guide, Bernie Jwaszewski, will be presenting sights and sounds of these three major Park attractions.

Bernie has crisscrossed the country in his RV motorhome, and to date hasworked in six (6) of our great National Parks the likes of Acadia, Glacier, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Zion, and the Cape Hatteras National Seashore either as a professional guide or as a National Park Ranger. The first year of his National Parks life was at Glacier Park in Montana where he lived on the Blackfeet Indian reservation, and drove one of the Parks historic open top “Red” buses in the Park.

Join us for an open house information session Tuesday, January 29th, 7pm at CCTV.
Learn journalism and multimedia skills, and report on important community issues by joining Cambridge Community Television’s NeighborMedia citizen journalism team. Correspondents are volunteers who cover stories happening in the city of Cambridge through blogging, photos, audio and video. No prior technical experience is needed as training will be provided, but an interest in Cambridge community issues and reporting on them is a must!
CCTV Seeks Reporters to Cover these Underreported Topics: Music, Media, Neighborhood Events, Advocacy, Food, Tech, Local Government, Seniors, Education (Correspondents may choose to cover these or any local topic of interest to them.)
A one-year commitment is preferred. Correspondents work with CCTV staff and a team of peers to identify story ideas, develop pieces and grow as reporters. People of all ages, backgrounds, experience levels and interests are encouraged to apply.
Correspondents’ work is published to the NeighborMedia.org website, distributed trough social networks on the web, and shown on CCTV’s three cable channels. In addition to an outlet for their work...

Curious what CCTV members are up to? Come join us for our Work in Progress Screening Tuesday, January 15th at 6:30 p.m.
This month we will be featuring the work of students for CCTV's recent 'Advanced Documentary' class. Pieces to be screened include:
- Erik Brown's "Hocumentary" about the 4th Allston roller hockey tournament and the man behind it.
- More details on other videos coming soon!
Each students will introduce his/her piece, screen it, then have the opportunity to ask questions and get feed back from the audience. The goal of a Work in Progress Screening is to help one another get constructive criticism to better our productions.
Come be part of the CCTV community. We would love to get your input!
