Susan Richards has served as the Out of School Time Coordinator for the City of Cambridge’s Agenda for Children from 2001 to present. Her previous work experience includes developing and directing the award winning Teen Media Program at the Community Art Center in Cambridge from 1985 to 1993 after which she became the organization’s Executive Director, serving in that capacity from 1994 to 2001. Susan is a native of Cambridge, where she resides with her two children, Elijah and Olivia.

Gail Pettiford Willett, a board member for South African Partners, has worked in the human services field for 30 years. She recently retired as the Program Coordinator for the Cambridge Public Library and is now a Nutrition and Health Coach. She has worked as a consultant and researcher of children's books and was the owner/founder of Savanna Books, a bookstore specializing in books about children of color. She has traveled extensively and is an avid quilter.

Charles Ogletree, the Harvard Law School Jesse Climenko Professor of Law and Vice Dean for the Clinical Programs, is a prominent legal theorist. In 2000, Professor Ogletree was selected by the National Law Journal as one of the 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America. He has received numerous awards and has a long record of commitment and service to public schools and higher education. He served as one of the founding members and trustee of the Benjamin Banneker Charter School in Cambridge. Professor Ogletree has been married to his fellow Stanford graduate, Pamela Barnes, since 1975. They are the proud parents of two children, Charles Ogletree III and Rashida Ogletree. The Ogletrees live in Cambridge and are members of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Nancy Murray is the Director of Education at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Massachusetts. She is the author of Rights Matter: the Story of the Bill of Rights. Nancy holds a B.Phil. and Ph.D. in Modern History from Oxford University. She has considerable experience as a teacher, scholar and social activist in Great Britain, Kenya, and the Middle East as well as the United States, and has written widely on the themes of civil liberties, civil and human rights.

George R. Metzger, President of HMFH Architects, Inc., has dedicated his career to the design of educational, housing, and community facilities. In his capacity as an architect, as well as his role in numerous civic organizations, including board membership for the Central Square Business Association and membership in the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Metzger has worked to maintain a dialogue between designers and the community.

Dyanne P. London works at Boston Healthcare for the Homeless and teaches at Lesley University. She received her PhD from Boston University. While at CCTV, she produced several programs of author readings at SISTAHS’ Bookstore, her investment club and the play dates with her goddaughter, Genita. Dyanne was on the MAC and more recently on the Board. Also, she was a co-host of Helping Families be Families on BNN, sponsored by a previous employer.

Jeff Lockwood is the Executive Director of Communications for Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR). In this capacity, he is responsible for handling global media relations issues, and developing and maintaining relationships with community and business groups in Massachusetts. He currently serves as a board member of Cambridge Family and Children’s Services, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, the Central Square Business Association and A Better City (ABC).

Margaret Lazarus is an Academy Award winning independent documentary filmmaker. She is a senior lecturer at Tufts University and was the co-founder with Renner Wunderlich of Cambridge Documentary Films, Inc., a non-profit filmmaking and distribution organization. Trinidadian born, Boston-bred, Rudy Hypolite is an independent filmmaker of documentary and narrative projects. In addition to his other films in production, he currently works as a producer and digital video editor for Harvard University’s Harvard@Home multimedia website (http://athome.harvard.edu). Rudy has worked at Cambridge Community Television, WFNX-FM Radio and for the USA Network’s The Big Easy television series in Los Angeles.

Sarah Gallop is Co-Director of Government and Community Relations at MIT. She has served as a liaison to the Cambridge community since 1990, working with residents, government officials, businesses, and regulatory bodies on projects and issues of mutual interest. Sarah has been actively involved with many Cambridge organizations including the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, East Cambridge Savings Bank, Shelter, Inc., YMCA, YWCA, CASPAR, and CCTV. She has also served on numerous City committees related to zoning and other policy matters.
