This is just one of many stories that shows why we created StoriesLive
program. And there is a story behind this story too - one of Maho's
teachers said the boy usually had a stutter and she was surprised to
see him step up to perform. Really ? Not evident while he is telling
his story.

Watch and you will see why we organizers at massmouth have borrowed
money, written grants, raised funds and begged for money AND also
worked tirelessly, without pay, to make our first year a success. We
think you will understand why we scheme and dream to make this program
happen again next year, too.

See how quiet Maho's classmates become as they listen and realize who
he is and what he has been through. How better to build a culture of
compassion than to listen to one another - to speak and be heard ?
Crafting, telling and listening to stories involves deep learning of
great value for all the students involved.
