CCTV Membership Information

Why Membership?
CCTV provides a forum for Cambridge residents to participate in both local and global interactions using television and the internet. CCTV offers video production workshops, access to video and computer equipment, channel time on three cable community channels and a live web stream, and access to computer software and training. There are four ways to gain access to these services through CCTV:

member photo » Access Membership

Access Membership gives you full access to all of CCTV's services and is limited to Cambridge Residents. If you are not a resident, please contact the Public Access Center in your home town.

 

member photo» Affiliate Membership

Affiliate Membership is a chance to circulate programming with CCTV without using our production facilities, and to enroll in Educational Seminars. Anyone, regardless of residence, may become an Affiliate Member of CCTV.

 
member photo » Organizational Membership

Any incorporated organization (including a business or a department of an institution) that is based in Cambridge or whose service area includes Cambridge is eligible to become an Organizational Member. The organization must pay a small fee and this allows up to four individuals from your organization to become Access Members of CCTV. This kind of membership will also make your organization eligible to receive special perks, such as low cost annual event coverage, free channel time, access to gear after training, etc.

Work 4-10 hours per week as a CCTV Intern and receive a free Access Membership, even if you do not live in Cambridge. There are many departments to intern in. Check out our current internship opportunities!

Discounts on blank media, tape stock, and tape duplication. check check   check
Free access to our computer lab during regular weekly hours. check check   check
Receive "Open Studio" newsletter, announcements. check check   check
Receive Members-only offers and invitations. check     check
Must be renewed annually. check check check  
Enroll individuals from your organization in media trainings.     check  
Have one event per year video taped and cablecast for only $35.     check
